Ingredients
Kartoplya (potatoes)
Smetana (sour cream)
Chasnyk (garlic)
Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes
A delicious and creamy mashed potato dish with a hint of garlic.
Peel and chop the potatoes into small chunks.
Boil the potatoes in a pot of salted water until they are fork-tender.
While the potatoes are cooking, mince the garlic cloves.
Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
Add the sour cream and minced garlic to the potatoes.
Mash the potatoes with a potato masher until smooth and creamy.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot and enjoy as a side dish with your favorite main course.
