Tremendous Chocolate Chip Cookies

Folks, these cookies are going to be tremendous. They're going to be the best cookies you've ever tasted, believe me. And we're going to use the best chocolate chips you'll ever see in your life. It's going to be amazing.

1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
2. In a mixing bowl, beat together 2 sticks of softened butter and 1 cup of white sugar until creamy.
3. Add in 2 eggs and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, and beat until well combined.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 and 1/4 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1 teaspoon of salt.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
6. Fold in as many chocolate chips as you want (the more, the better).
7. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
8. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned.
9. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving.
