Vanilla Cream Sauce

This recipe makes a deliciously thick and creamy sauce that can be used as a topping for desserts, cakes or ice cream.

1. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat the sugar over medium-high heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon until it is dissolved and turns golden brown.
2. Add the heavy cream to the pan, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming.
3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
4. Remove the pan from the heat and let the sauce cool to room temperature.
5. Once cooled, pour the sauce into an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator until ready to use. Use it as a topping for desserts, cakes, or ice cream. Enjoy!
