Start by cookin' yer macaroni in a pot of salted water. Cook until it's al dente, then drain and set aside. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until translucent. Add yer pineapple chunks and cook until soft. Add yer flour and stir until the mixture is thick and creamy. Slowly add in yer chicken broth and simmer for 10 minutes. Add yer heavy cream and rum and stir until well mixed. Reduce the heat to low and let the soup simmer for an additional 10 minutes. In a separate pan, melt yer butter and add yer cooked macaroni. Mix well and cook until the mac is crispy. Serve yer pineapple soup in bowls and top with a scoop of yer mac and cheese.
