Classic Beef Steak

This classic beef steak recipe is perfect for a fancy dinner or a weekend treat. It's simple to make and packs a ton of flavor with minimal effort.

1. Take the beef steaks out of the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature (about 30 minutes).
2. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat with the vegetable oil.
3. Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
4. Once the skillet is hot, add the steaks to the pan and cook undisturbed for 3-4 minutes, until a brown crust forms on the bottom.
5. Flip the steaks and cook for another 2-3 minutes for medium-rare (adjust time if you prefer your steak cooked longer).
6. Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the garlic, rosemary, and butter to the pan. Use a spoon to baste the steaks with the melted butter.
7. Remove the steaks from the pan and cover them with foil to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
