Cheesy Potato Bake

A comforting and delicious dish perfect for a cozy dinner or a hearty side.

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
3. In a bowl, mix together the cheese, salt, pepper, and chopped basil.
4. In a baking dish, layer the sliced potatoes and sprinkle some of the cheese mixture over each layer.
5. Continue layering potatoes and cheese mixture until all the ingredients are used up.
6. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes.
7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
