Creamy Mushroom Pasta

This recipe is a perfect way to enjoy the earthy flavor of mushrooms in a satisfying pasta dish that is both creamy and comforting.

1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water and drain the rest.
2. Clean and slice mushrooms.
3. In a large skillet, heat some olive oil or butter over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly. Add grated parmesan cheese, stir well and cook for a couple of minutes more.
5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta and reserved pasta water to the skillet and toss everything together until the pasta is coated in the creamy mushroom sauce.
7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
