Pirate's Treasure Tart Ahoy matey! Here be a recipe fer ye hungry bellies. This tart be filled with a treasure trove o' cherries, ground almonds, and roasted pecans. Ye won't be walkin' the plank after ye try this one!
Preheat ye oven to 350°F. Mix 1 1/2 cups o' flour with 1/3 cup of sugar and a pinch of salt. Cut in 1/2 cup o' cold butter until it looks like fine breadcrumbs. Add 1 egg and mix until it comes together. Press yer pastry into a tart tin and bake for 10 minutes. While yer pastry bakes, mix 1 cup o' ground almonds with 3 tablespoons o' sugar. Spread this mixture at the bottom of your baked pastry. Cover it with cherries and pecans, and put it back in the oven for 25-30 minutes, until it be golden and the filling be bubblin'. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a "yo-ho-ho!"
