Ingredients
Pork chops
rice
chicken broth
onion
garlic
soy sauce
salt
pepper
vegetable oil
Pork Chop Rice
Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
Fry pork chops until golden brown on both sides, around 2-3 minutes per side. Set pork chops aside.
In the same skillet, add chopped onion and garlic and sauté until onions are translucent.
Add uncooked rice to the skillet and stir until rice is coated in the onion and garlic mixture.
Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
Place the pork chops on top of the rice and cover with a tight-fitting lid.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked through and the pork chops have reached an internal temperature of 145°F.
Once cooked, remove pork chops from skillet and fluff the rice with a fork.
Drizzle soy sauce over the rice and serve alongside the pork chops.
