Beef Stir Fry with Egg Fried Rice This recipe is a Chinese inspired dish that is quick and easy to make. The beef stir fry is flavored with garlic, soy sauce and sesame oil, and served with fluffy egg fried rice.
In a wok or large skillet, heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil over high heat. Add sliced beef and stir fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Add garlic, carrots, and continue to stir fry for another 2-3 minutes, or until beef is cooked through. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, salt and pepper to taste. Cook for another minute, until the sauce thickens. In a separate pan, heat the remaining oil over medium heat. Add the beaten egg and scramble until cooked through. Add the cooked rice to the pan with the egg, and continue to stir fry for 2-3 minutes, or until rice is heated through. Serve the beef stir fry with the egg fried rice on the side. Enjoy!
