Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and no longer pink, about 5-6 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside. Add chorizo to the same skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove chorizo from skillet and set aside. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until onion is translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the can of diced tomatoes (with the juice), chicken broth, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to the onion mixture. Stir everything together and bring to a simmer.
