Crispy Tofu and Cauliflower Stir Fry This stir fry is a delicious and healthy vegetarian option that is quick and easy to make. The crispy tofu pairs perfectly with the tender cauliflower and savory sauce, creating a satisfying and flavorful meal.
Press tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess water. Cut into small cubes and season with salt and pepper. In a shallow bowl, mix together 1/4 cup cornstarch and 1 tsp salt. Coat the tofu cubes in the mixture. Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Place the coated tofu cubes in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until crispy and golden brown. Remove from pan and set aside. Cut cauliflower into small florets and chop garlic, onion, and green onions. Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and onion, cooking until fragrant. Add the cauliflower to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, until tender. In a small bowl, mix together 2 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tsp cornstarch. Pour into the pan along with the cooked tofu cubes and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened. Serve hot, topped with sliced green onions. Enjoy!
