Pan-Seared Steak with Garlic Butter This simple and classic steak recipe takes just 15 minutes to prepare and cook. With a great blend of herbs and butter, it is perfect for a date night dinner, or to impress your guests.
Take the steaks out of the refrigerator, and let them rest at room temperature for 30 minutes. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper. Preheat a heavy skillet over high heat. Add the steaks to the pan and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until a crust forms. Reduce the heat to medium and continue cooking until the steaks reach the desired doneness. Remove the skillet from the heat and let the steaks rest on a plate while you make the garlic butter. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes or until fragrant. Pour the garlic butter over the steaks and sprinkle chopped parsley on top. Serve hot with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
