Smoky Jackfruit Peppers Howdy, y'all! This dish is sure to satisfy your cowboy cravings for something smoky and delicious. We're cookin' up some jackfruit and peppers with a dash of paprika, for an aromatic flavor.
Preheat a cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Drain and rinse the jackfruit, and pat dry. Shred the jackfruit into small pieces with your hands. Add the sliced peppers, and cook for 5-7 minutes, until they begin to soften. Add the shredded jackfruit, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir until the jackfruit is coated with the spices. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the jackfruit is browned and crispy. Serve hot with a side of mashed potatoes or brown rice.
