Tomato Basil Chicken Lasagna This savory lasagna is perfect for a hearty family dinner. The combination of ground chicken, tomato sauce, and fresh basil is sure to satisfy even the pickiest eaters.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package directions, then drain and set aside. In a large skillet, cook the ground chicken until it is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat, then add the tomato sauce and chopped basil. Stir to combine, then add salt and pepper to taste. In a separate bowl, mix together the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Spread a layer of the chicken and tomato sauce mixture on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Add a layer of lasagna noodles, followed by a layer of the cheese mixture. Repeat until all ingredients are used up, ending with a layer of cheese on top. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese on top is brown and bubbly.
