Captain's Sea Bread

Ahoy, mate! This here recipe be makin' a fine loaf of bread fit for a captain! Me thinks ye be lovin' it.

1. Preheat ye oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a loaf pan with butter or oil.
2. In a large mixin' bowl, combine ye flour, sugar, bakin' powder, and salt.
3. Cut ye butter into tiny pieces and add to ye flour mixture. Rub ye butter into ye flour using ye fingertips until ye mixture is crumbly.
4. Gradually pour ye milk into ye flour mixture and stir until ye dough comes together.
5. Knead ye dough on a floured surface fer a few minutes until it be smooth.
6. Shape ye dough into a loaf shape and place it in yer greased loaf pan.
7. Bake ye bread for 40 to 45 minutes until it be golden brown on top and make a hollow sound when ye tap it from the bottom.
8. Remove ye bread from ye oven and let it cool in the pan fer a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
