Pan-Seared Salmon with Bok Choy This recipe combines the healthy goodness of salmon with tasty greens of bok choy in a simple and easy-to-prepare dish. The salmon is pan-seared to perfection and served alongside steamed bok choy, all infused with the fragrant smell of garlic.
Heat a large pan over medium heat and add the olive oil and butter. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, making sure to coat both sides. Once the butter has melted, add in the minced garlic and sauté for a couple of minutes until fragrant. Add the salmon fillets to the pan, skin side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it is cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the salmon from the pan and let rest while you cook the bok choy. Add the bok choy to the same pan and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until slightly brown and caramelized. Plate the salmon fillets and bok choy together and serve immediately. Enjoy!
